By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3.1 Account Data

When you register, we collect:

• Billing information (processed by our payment provider, Paddle; we do not store full card numbers)
• Account preferences and settings

3.2 Usage and Platform Data

We collect limited technical information such as:

• Device type, browser type, and operating system
• IP address

We use privacy-friendly analytics providers (such as Vercel Analytics or Google Analytics) for aggregated platform analytics.

3.3 Communications

• Support messages and correspondence you send us
• Comments you post on product pages

3.4 Cookies

• We only use essential authentication cookies required for login and account sessions.
• We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

• Create and manage your Coderthemes account
• Process payments through Paddle (Note: All sales are final. No refunds will be provided unless required by applicable law).
• Provide marketplace functionality and store your purchases/uploads
• Provide customer support (Note: Marketplace purchases do not include support unless a paid support add-on is purchased).
• Prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms
• Send transactional emails (receipts, account notifications) via Unosend
• Send product updates or marketing emails where permitted by law or where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not use your data, uploaded files, or content to train AI models or algorithms.

5. Storage and Retention

• Account data: For as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal, billing, and security obligations.
• Uploaded Files and Marketplace Content: Files and assets uploaded to Coderthemes are stored while the associated content or accounts remain active.
• Support communications: Up to 3 years from the date of last contact.

Storage Infrastructure

Your data and files utilize services including:

• Cloudflare R2 for storage
• Supabase/PostgreSQL for database infrastructure
• Unosend for email delivery
• Vercel or VPS infrastructure for hosting

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or uploaded content. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Payment processors (Paddle): To process transactions under their own compliant policies; we do not receive or store full card details.
• Infrastructure and hosting providers: Cloud storage (Cloudflare), databases (Supabase), and hosting (Vercel/VPS) under standard data processing terms.
• Analytics providers: Aggregated, anonymised usage data via Vercel Analytics or Google Analytics to help us improve the platform (see Section 7).
• Legal and regulatory authorities: Where required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Coderthemes, our users, or the public.

7. Analytics and Cookies

• We use analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics or Google Analytics) to collect anonymised, aggregated data about how the platform is used.
• We do not use this data to identify you individually.
• We do not share analytics data with advertisers.
• You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or by using browser extensions.

8. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are based, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• Access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — You can request deletion of your personal data, account, and content.
• Withdraw consent — Where we rely on your consent to process data (e.g., marketing emails), you may withdraw that consent at any time.

9. Content You Upload — Your Responsibilities

By uploading assets or content to the Coderthemes marketplace, you confirm that:

• You own or have the legal right to use and distribute all content you upload.
• You will not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or that violates the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

Coderthemes reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

10. Ownership of Uploads

You retain full ownership of any content and assets you upload to Coderthemes. Uploading to Coderthemes does not transfer any intellectual property rights to us.

11. Children

Coderthemes is not directed at anyone under the age of 18, and use of the platform is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@coderthemes.com and we will delete it promptly.

12. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include encrypted data transmission and secure storage infrastructure. However, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

13. International Data Transfers

Coderthemes is operated by Coderthemes Design LLP, based in Gujarat, India. This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. By using our services, you acknowledge that your data may be stored, transferred, and processed in India, as well as on servers managed by our global infrastructure providers (such as Vercel and Cloudflare).

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Coderthemes after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
